Redmi Note 10 Pros and Cons for Bangladeshi User

Redmi Note 10 Bangladeshi Review

The Redmi Note 10 continues the legacy that we all know. Performance and Battery were never an issue with the Redmi Note series and the same trend continues here as well.

The Redmi Note 10 falls in one of the most demanding and crowded segments in Bangladesh- the sub-BDT 20,000 price band.

The new Snapdragon 678 SoC makes its debut in Bangladesh with the Note 10. It is quite a capable chipset with a robust performance while handling the software.

Xiaomi has come up with a new design language for the Redmi Note 10 series which it calls Evol. Basically, it is a polycarbonate back and the camera module is designed to look like it’s a premium phone. The phone is available in three colorways – Aqua Green, Shadow Black, and Frost White. We are using the Frost White variant which has a nice matte finish touch.

The Mi Note 10 is using a Full HD+ panel, and like the OnePlus 7T, it looks great. This is an AMOLED panel, too, so it has deep blacks with a contrast ratio of 400,000:1. In our testing, this device didn’t shine quite as brightly as its competitors, with a peak brightness of about 422nits. While not quite as bright as other phones, the Mi Note 10 was still perfectly readable outside. The AMOLED display helps with contrast in direct daylight.

  • Standard: 108MP, f/1.69, OIS
  • 2x Telephoto: 12MP, f/2
  • 3.7x Telephoto: 8MP, f/2, OIS
  • 5MP Crop on 3.7x 8MP tele camera, Xiaomi says it results in 5x optical zoom (but that’s not how optics work)
  • Ultra-wide: 12MP, f/2.2, 117-degree FoV
  • Macro: 2MP, 1.75μm pixel size
  • Teardrop selfie camera: 16MP, f/2.0

The Redmi Note 10 comes with a quad-camera setup on the rear which is arranged in a Mi 11 series-inspired design. It has a primary 48MP Sony IMX582 main lens on the top, the 8MP ultra-wide lens, and the 2MP macro lens sit in the second row while the 2MP depth sensor sits on the bottom of the camera module. Next to the camera module, there is a dual-LED flash – all of these sit in a single module that flushes out the rear panel with a decent amount of protrusion.

A 5,000mAh battery unit powers the device which is backed by a 33W fast charger, an upgrade from 18W on the Redmi Note 10. The device could easily last for a day with medium to heavy usage and we got around 6 to 7 hours of screen time consistently which is pretty good for our usage. On some days, we even got close to 8 hours which is pretty solid.

Additionally, Redmi Note 10 is powered by Qualcomm SDM678 Snapdragon 678 (11 nm) processor and runs on Android 11, MIUI 12.5. The dimensions of this phone 160.5 x 74.5 x 8.3 mm (6.32 x 2.93 x 0.33 in) and 178.8 g (6.31 oz) in weight.

This phone’s build quality is Glass front (Gorilla Glass 3), plastic back, and plastic frame. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 performed as expected in benchmarks, edging out devices that use the standard variant Snapdragon 730 such as the Xiaomi Mi 9T.
